PRIVATE: Villa of the Duke and Duchess in Sotogrande

PRINCE Andrew and Fergie have flown to Spain’s Costa del Sol amid scrutiny over their links to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The pair landed in Malaga on a private jet and are reported to be staying in the exclusive resort of Sotogrande.

Andrew, 59, has faced renewed attention over his relationship with Epstein after the convicted sex offender was found dead in a New York prison.

It comes after a royal insider told The Sun: “The Duchess insisted she go on holiday with the Duke to look after him and show the world she stands by him.

“The Duke has been fairly relaxed up to now, he’s starting to s*** himself.

“It’s become the biggest story in the world and he’s at the heart of the coverage.”

The Duke and Duchess were reportedly driven by limousine to Sotogrande where they have holidayed together since 2009.

DISGRACED: Billionaire friend of Prince Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein

Epstein’s apparent suicide had come shortly after a US court released previously sealed legal documents.

These contained historical allegations – struck from US court records in 2015 – that Prince Andrew had sex with one of Epstein’s alleged victims, Virginia Roberts, when she was 17.

The Prince has always vigorously denied any wrongdoing.

A Palace spokesman said: “It is emphatically denied that The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts.

“Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”
