A BRITISH man has reportedly been shot, kneecapped and given a ‘Glasgow Smile’ in a sickening attack on the Costa del Sol.

The victim is believed to have been tricked into a meeting in the town before he received the torture technique, which sees the corners of the mouth cut up to the ears.

According to reports, the brutal attack, believed to be a warning to other gang members, took place in Marbella on Sunday morning.

The unnamed Brit is alive but in a serious condition with multiple injuries including broken bones.

No arrests have been made.

He is said to have arrived in Spain on the night of the attack.
