Jose Breton calls toxicology reports ‘a lie’

experts confirm remains on estate belong to jose and ruth breton

JOSE Breton, father of missing children Ruth and Jose, has said that the burnt remains found on their grandfather’s estate near Cordoba are from animals.

Breton, who has been in custody since October 2011, told judge Luis Rodriguez Laize that he remembers burning a sheep’s head and the bodies of a dog and cat at the bonfire and the remains belong to them.

While police had originally claimed they belonged to an animal, recent reports commissioned by the government have ruled the teeth and bones are those of two young children aged two and six.

The prosecuting lawyer representing Ruth Ortiz, the children’s mother, said that Breton refused to accept the new toxicology reports.

“He didn’t say anything, just that it is a lie. He denies the evidence and says we are all crazy apart from him,” he said.

Breton’s mobile phone activity is currently undergoing thorough investigation: “We expect much more and offer clues about what happened that day,” added the prosecution.

  1. Of course he denies it. What else can he do ? If the dogs mark, or remains are found you can admit it, or deny it. Interesting that they have latched on to the mobile phone records. They have done that in other cases too.

  2. He is a very crafty Man I have never trusted him and i have always said that he has murdered the childeren he lead the police a merry chase especially the detective, Breton knew what he had done all along

  3. Guess they left out a couple of facts. The fire didn’t appear until 17:15 when Breton was on his way to the park with the children. Two, the mother received 3 calls from Portugal the following days telling her the children were fine. Last, after being locked up 11 months the Judge ( not the Attorney General ), still does not know who, when, nor where the children were killed. Actions for Justice ( AXJ ) keeps investigating around the world.
