WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers have jetted into southern Spain for third time this year in preparation for the Europa League.

The Midlands side were spotted at the Marbella Football Center yesterday where they were training before they take on Besiktas in the competition on Thursday.

The 8pm kick-off at Molineux is likely to see heavy rain and temperatures plummet to 7°C, while Marbs could see highs of 20°C this week.

Wolves’ main squad have been joined by injured defender Willy Boly and seven of the club’s under-23s team.

After an afternoon of football, the players and staff were seen enjoying some downtime at La Sala, Puerto Banus.

The upmarket restaurant is a favourite of Nuno Espirito Santo’s men who were spotted living it up there last year.

Bottled water appeared to be the drink of choice for Conor Coady, Raul Jimenez and the other big names assembled at the expat haunt .

A group photo by Jonny Otto captured the happy scenes at La Sala, which this year has also hosted other sporting greats including Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

Espirito Santo’s Wolves have enjoyed a blistering start to the season and are currently on an 11-game unbeaten run – their longest in the top flight since 1962.

They have already secured a place in the Europa League last-32 ahead of the Besiktas match.

But they will hope a dose of Vitamin D on the Costa does them well as they prepare for a testing encounter with Jose Mourinho’s reinvigorated Tottenham on Sunday.

The squad flew out straight after Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Brighton and will return on Wednesday night.

Wolves were also in Marbella in April of this year, and before that dropped in back in February.
