Tournament Rules
Qualification and Invitation
- South American Events (2025-2026):
- The top 14 teams in the Global VRS ranking and the top 1-2 teams from South America will be invited.
- All Other Events:
- The top 16 teams in the Global VRS ranking will be invited.
Open Qualifiers and Event Format
- Open Qualifiers: Due to a busy event schedule, there will be no open qualifiers for any PGL events.
- Event Format: All PGL events in 2025-2026 will be held offline.
Roster Eligibility and Participation
- Roster Eligibility: A roster must have at least three of the same athletes who were on the roster on the invite date.
- Declining or Inability to Participate: If a team cannot participate or declines the invite, the next eligible team in the Global VRS ranking will be offered the spot.
- Visa Requirements: Teams must obtain necessary visas by the deadline or risk losing their invite to the next eligible team.
