British man dies after falling from sixth floor of hotel in Spain’s Mallorca

A BRITISH man has died after falling from the sixth floor of a building in Palma.

Emergency services were called to Carrer Berenguer de Tornamira in the Mallorcan capital at 3pm on Sunday after an unnamed male, aged in his sixties, fell from a balcony.

The man, who was reportedly a resident of Mallorca, was pronounced dead by emergency service personnel at the scene.

Several witnesses saw the moment the man fell to his death. The Policia Nacional have opened an investigation.

The incident comes less than a fortnight after Emily Ramsay, a 19-year-old law student at Strathclyde University, died following a fall at a Palma hotel.
