A GERMAN national has been arrested for negligent homicide after his boat collided with a jet ski at Puerto Banus near Marbella.
The male victim, 26, was also German and was knocked unconscious into the water on Saturday at around 6pm.
He was pulled out but attempts to resuscitate him by paramedics were unsuccessful.

Minutes earlier, several bathers warned that a boat was driving recklessly and ‘trying to ram other vessels’.
The Guardia Civil took the skipper to a police station where he tested positive for drugs and alcohol.
The man appeared before a Marbella court on Monday and was denied bail.
It has not been clarified whether he was a resident or a tourist.
Despite the fact that the accused and the victim were both German, there was no connection between the two men.
