Pictured: Scottish tourist, 19, who fell to her death from hotel balcony in Spain’s Ibiza

IMAGES have been revealed of the 19-year-old Scottish tourist who fell to her death from a hotel balcony in Ibiza, Spain. 

Heartbroken tributes are pouring in for the young Scottish student who tragically fell to her death from the sixth floor of a hotel in Ibiza. 

Emma Ramsay, 19, was enjoying a holiday in the party hotspot before she plunged from a balcony at the Hotel Vibra, San Antonio. 

Paramedics rushed to the scene but couldn’t do anything to save the law student due to the extent of her injuries. 

Many mourners from the youngster’s hometown of Hamilton, Lanarkshire, have rushed to express their sorrow. 

Emma’s mum wrote:  “My angel, Emma. I don’t even know where to begin.

“You are my daughter my best friend in the whole world and I am going to miss you more than words will ever express 

“Rest in peace my sweet angel and sleep tight, mummy loves you so so much.”

Her best friend Niamh said: “Our Beautiful Angel. I’ll be forever grateful that I get to call you my friend.

“You’ll be forever young my girl, never goodbye just a see you later.

“The biggest ray of sunshine to walk the earth and the biggest blessing heaven has ever received.”

The teen’s former headteacher at St John Ogilvie High School also gave her condolences: “We are shocked and saddened at the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our former Head Girl, Emma Ramsay.

“Emma was an incredibly kind, hardworking, bright and talented pupil who contributed a great deal to our school community.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Emma will be missed and will forever hold a special place in our school.”

Colette Watson, Headteacher at St Mark’s Primary in Hamilton also said: “Emma was a lovely girl, caring and considerate and many of our staff have truly fond memories of her time with us.

“This is terribly sad news, and our thoughts, prayers and profound sympathies go out to Emma’s family and friends.”

The Guardia Civil is continuing to investigate the incident and an autopsy is set to take place. 

A spokesperson said: “I can confirm a 19-year-old British tourist has died following a fall at a hotel in San Antonio in Ibiza.”

However, according to a source consulted by the Sun: “Everything is pointing to this being a tragic accidental fall.”

An Foreign Office spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British woman who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”

She is the second Brit to fall to their death in the Balearic Isles in a matter of days.
