A GARDENER died from a heart attack on Monday while working at a Mallorca villa, with heatstroke said to be the likely cause.
The 20-year-old Ecuadorian was in the garden of the property on the upmarket Son Vida urbanisation in Palma when his co-worker noticed that something was wrong with him.
The man saw he had sat down on the ground with his head thrown back and went to speak to him.

His partner did not respond and emergency teams were summoned at around 5.30pm to the property on Calle Gosauba in an area described as the Beverly Hills of Mallorca.
As he waited for medics to arrive, he started resuscitation manoeuvres.
Health teams along with the Palma Policia Local and the Policia Nacional went to the scene.
Doctors used a defibrillator to try to restore the young gardener’s vital signs but with no success.
His father who owns the gardening company also went to the property after being told about had happened.
