LAMINE Yamal, the 17-year-old Barcelona and Spain star, has reportedly unfollowed his girlfriend Alex Padilla on Instagram after she was filmed sitting on another boy’s lap in a viral video.
The couple had gone public with their relationship during the Euro 2024 tournament which Spain won earlier this summer, where they were pictured together and Padilla was spotted sitting with Yamal’s family.
Euro 2024 was a breakout moment for the prodigiously talented Barcelona winger who, having become the youngest ever scorer at a European Championship, won the Young Player of the Tournament award.
However, it appears that their relationship is on the rocks after an Instagram Live video, which has since gone viral on social media, captured the TikTok star sitting on another boy’s lap.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the pair have unfollowed each other on social media – Padilla has also deleted all of her posts on Instagram.
Padilla, who watched several La Roja games in Germany, including the final, is a Barcelona-based student with 1.7 million followers on TikTok.
Some angry supporters on social media even accused her of cheating on Yamal.
According to reports in The Sun, the couple jetted off to Milan and Greece together as Yamal enjoys his well-deserved summer break after a long season.
He is reportedly currently holidaying in Marbella with Nico Williams, the 21-year-old winger with whom Yamal formed a deadly partnership throughout the Euros tournament.
