17-YEAR-old footballer Lamine Yamal has prompted chaos in Marbella as he holidays with teammate Nico Williams following Spain’s Euro 2024 victory.
It’s no secret that footballers love Marbella.
Many own property on the Costa del Sol and frequently visit high-end venues like La Sala.
Marbella-fever has even caught on with younger Spanish stars, including 17-year-old Lamine Yamal.
When asked where he would choose to go on holiday, the Barcelona forward said: “Marbella. The first time I went on holiday with friends was there, it’s very beautiful and fun.”
True to his word, after a brief stint in Greece the star came to the Costa del Sol to relax following Spain’s Euros triumph.
After videos surfaced on social media showing Yamal on a Malaga airport bus yesterday, the word was out – Spain’s next footballing prodigy was in Marbella.
Later that day, he also posted a story on Instagram showing him and a friend smiling atop a Mercedes.
But he wasn’t the only Spanish footballing star in town.
That evening, he dined alongside his teammate Nico Williams at Mosh Fun Kitchen, Nueva Andalucia.
The two were photographed smiling alongside Mosh Group founders, Roberto Santamaria and Domenico Pastoressa.
Videos posted on social media capture the huge crowds gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of Spain’s hottest footballing talent.
Yamal had to be held by private security amongst the gaggle of fans to safely reach his car.
Currently signed with Barcelona FC, Yamal scored an impressive goal in Spain’s match against France, before playing in the hotly contested final against England.
