HANSI Flick was officially presented as Barcelona coach on Thursday at a news conference alongside Barca president, Joan Laporta.
The former Germany and Bayern Munich manager signed up with the La Liga side two months ago.
Flick has only had two weeks to train with some of his squad, as the players that participated in Euro 2024 and the Copa America have some time off.

Others, like 17-year-old centre back Pau Cubarsí, are playing at the Paris Olympics.
“I am very happy with the first few weeks and we have a lot of wonderful young players.”
“We have to create this atmosphere for the players, to be able to develop them and take them to a higher stage in their career- and that’s what I’m going to focus on.”
Flick also made it clear what the club expects of him.
“Barca always want to win trophies and that is why I’m here.”
He was full of praise for Lamine Yamal who became a big international name during Euro 2024, and turned 17 a day before Spain beat England in the final two weeks ago.
“What (Yamal) did in the Euros is unbelievable,” Flick said.
Joan Laporta told the assembled media why the club had plumped for the German to replace Xavi Hernandez as coach.
“We believe he is the right person for the team because of his experience, his discipline, his culture of hard work, his philosophy.”
“He is the best qualified to give us the drive to face the challenges we face,” the Barca president added.
