French tourist is found ‘stabbed to death’ inside her motorhome in Spain: Police work to find out if she was travelling alone

THE GUARDIA Civil is investigating the violent death of a French woman found inside her motorhome overlooking a Castellon province beach on Thursday.

Her body was discovered around noon with multiple stab wounds including an injury to her face.

The home was in a parking area on the Cami de l’Atall in Alcossebre.

The Guardia Civil is trying to identify her and to find out whether or not she was travelling alone.

Unconfirmed reports in local media suggested that she was holidaying with a man.

At the moment, the Guardia is keeping an open mind as to what exactly happened and have given no indication as to her age.

The Levante newspaper said that a knife used in the fatal wounding was discovered inside the motorhome.

It’s not known what alerted authorities to the stabbing incident.
