FOUR women have been rescued by the Policia Nacional in Benidorm after being forced to work as prostitutes in a city apartment converted into a brothel.
The gang also operated out of Murcia with the victims- mainly Columbian- conned by false job offers to work as models in Spain.
They ended up being prostituted 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Four people have been arrested in Murcia and three in Benidorm, including the two leaders of the criminal group.
Police latched on to what was going on from an anonymous phone call that said a woman was being held in a Murcia apartment and forced into prostitution.
Authorities learnt more about the gang and the fake offers of work given to vulnerable women suffering financial hardship in their country.
Some were indeed offered positions as sex workers but with excellent terms and conditions that were not fulfilled.
Air fares were paid by the gang and instructions on successfully gaining entry to Spain.
Once they were picked, the women were taken to one of the brothel flats run by the criminals and forced to engage in prostitution until their debt was settled.
The women were required to be available 24 hours a day, every day of the week and were forced to use drugs and perform services without using condoms.
They were also subject to strict control through video surveillance cameras and if they wanted to go outside, they had to be accompanied and only with prior permission from the exploiters.
The criminal organisation was led by a couple who recruited victims and paid for their trips, through to the purchase of the properties used.
They used collaborators who were in charge of carrying out tasks necessary for the enterprise to flourish including a ‘madame0 in charge of the brothels and a driver who moved the women between the apartments.
The police probe identified the gang as selling drugs including cocaine and marijuana to customers, as well as erectile dysfunction drugs.
Four homes were searched and two brothels in Murcia and Benidorm raided, where €7,970 in cash, drugs, two cars and a motorcycle, various electronic devices and numerous documents were seized.
