British tourist is stabbed to death outside a nightclub in Spain

A BRITISH tourist, 30, was stabbed to death outside a nightclub in a seaside town near Barcelona.

Catalan police confirmed that the victim was involved in a fight outside the Oxygen nightclub in Calella at 5am.

It is believed that he was killed during a row with a group of foreign men living in the area after being stabbed in a vital organ.

Local media report that they were of North African and Dominican nationality.

Another man was also wounded and was rushed to hospital.

The police are currently investigating the attack but no arrests have so far been made while they study CCTV footage.

Calella police said: “This morning there was a fight in a nightclub in the city.

“The result of the incident is one dead and one injured, who has been taken to a hospital. The attack was by knife.”
