ITALIANS are often described as the most expressive when it comes to speaking with your hands.

But Spaniards are arguably a close second, with many hand movements meaning specific and different things.

A TikTok user has received thousands of views for a series of videos which ask you to guess what different hand gestures mean in Spain.

From simply asking for the bill to telling people to get lost, test your knowledge below.

Laurence Dollimore

Laurence Dollimore is a Spanish-speaking, NCTJ-trained journalist with almost a decade’s worth of experience.
The London native has a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds and and an MA in the same subject from Queen Mary University London.
