Cold snap to slowly retreat this week in Spain’s Andalucia

SPANISH weather agency AEMET, has forecast a change in the weather in Andalucia from today, Monday January 30, onwards.

According to AEMET, temperatures will start to rise gradually throughout the week.

As of today, Monday, the return to milder weather will be felt acrosss most of the region with provinces such as Sevilla and Huelva expected to exceed 15ºC.

Only Granada will record sub-zero temperatures.

On Tuesday, the only Andalucian province with temperatures below freezing will be Cordoba.

By Wednesday the whole of Andalucia is expected to have lows above the sub-zero threshold, with maximum temperatures across Spain’s most southern region expected to reach a pleasant 15-20ºC.
