Earthquake shakes several Malaga municipalities in Spain’s Costa del Sol

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake has rattled towns across the province of Malaga on Monday.

The National Geographic Institute (NGI) first reported the quake which rocked the municipalities of Fuengirola, Mijas and Malaga city at 3.48am.

Emergency Services 112 informed the earthquake had not caused any personal or material damage.

It occurred one day after another earthquake was recorded between Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
