156 MUNICIPALITIES in Spain’s Andalucia at extreme risk of COVID-19 for exceeding a 14-day cumulative incidence rate of 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Scores of municipalities in Andalucia exceed the threshold for extreme risk just four weeks after the end of the state of alarm, including two provincial capitals—Granada and Huelva.

In total, there are eleven more localities in the red zone for COVID-19 than there were seven days ago.

According to the latest data updated by the Regional Ministry of Health, Granada is the province with the highest number of positive cases, with 40 localities exceeding a 14-day cumulative incidence rate of 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, followed by Sevilla with 33, Jaen with 24, Huelva with 21, Malaga with 16, Cordoba with 11, Cadiz with seven and Almeria with four.

The 156 municipalities in Andalucia considered at extreme risk for COVID-19 are as follows:

GRANADA (40): Gualchos, Itrabo, Lanjaron, Nevada, Sorvilan, Torrenueva Costa, Trevelez, Alamedilla, Beas de Guadix, Fonelas, Galera, Hueneja, Marchal, Puebla de Don Fadrique, the capital, Huetor de Santillan, Jun, Armilla, Atarfe, Calicasas, Churriana de la Vega, Cogollos de la Vega, Cullar Vega, Deifontes, Dilar, Dudar, Las Gabias, Gojar, Güevejar, Iznalloz, Loja, Maracena, Monachil, Padul, Peligros, Pinos Puente, Villamena, Viznar, Zafarraya and Zagra.

SEVILLA (33): Castilleja de Guzman, Chucena, Olivares, La Puebla del Rio, Villamanrique de la Condesa, Cañada Rosal, Casariche, Ecija, Estepa, Fuentes de Andalucia, Gilena, Herrera, La Luisiana, Marinaleda, Osuna, El Rubio, Alanis, Alcala del Rio, La Algaba, Brenes, Burguillos, La Campana, Cantillana, Carmona, Guillena, Lora del Rio, Mairena del Alcor, San Nicolas del Puerto, Tocina, Villanueva del Río y Minas, Villaverde del Río, Zufre and El Palmar de Troya.

JAEN (24): Fuensanta de Martos, Higuera de Calatrava, Martos, Torredonjimeno, Villardompardo, Cambil, Campillo de Arenas, Espeluy, Huelma, Mengibar, Pegalajar, Torredelcampo, Los Villares, Villatores, Andujar, Arjona, Arjonilla, Arquillos, Bailen, La Carolina, Guarroman, Santisteban del Puerto, La Puerta de Segura and Villarodrigo.

HUELVA (21): Calañas, CampofrIo, El Cerro del Andevalo, La Granada de Rio-Tinto, Minas de Riotinto, Valverde del Camino, Almonte, Bollullos Par del Condado, Lucena del Puerto, Moguer, Niebla, La Palma del Condado, Palos de la Frontera, Rociana del Condado, San Bartolome de la Torre, San Juan del Puerto, Villarrasa, Aljaraque, Cabezas Rubias, the capital and Punta Umbria.

MALAGA (16): Colmenar, Frigiliana, Riogordo, Salares, Almargen, Antequera, Campillos, Villanueva del Rosario, Arriate, Cuevas del Becerro, Guacin, Jimena de Libar, Jubrique, Montecorto, Alozaina and Cartama.

CORDOBA (11): Aguilar de la Frontera, La Guijarrosa, Puente Genil, Fuente Palmera, Belmez, Los Blazquez, Conquista, La Granjuela, Hinojosa del Duque, Valsequillo and Villanueva del Rey.

CADIZ (7): Benalup-Casas Viejas, Medina Sidonia, Algar, Algodonales, Arcos de la Frontera, Espera and Prado del Rey.

ALMERIA (4): Pulpi, Abrucena, Bacares and Alicun.
