LISTED: The municipalities closing or opening their borders in Spain’s Andalucia TODAY after Junta updates list

THE Junta de Andalucia has officially updated its list of municipalities which exceed the 500 cases per 100,000 people threshold.

Published in the state gazette aka BOJA last night, the list details which towns must close their borders from today and for the next two weeks.

It also lists the municipalities which have lowered their incidence rates to below the 500-cases threshold and can therefore open their borders today, as well as those which have to keep themselves sealed off after remaining above the 500-cases barrier.

All the municipalities listed are those which adopted the measure two weeks ago and were therefore due an update.

New municipalities closing borders from Wednesday

Cordoba: Fuente-Tójar

Granada: Alpujarra de la Sierra, La Calahorra, Molvízar, Pórtugos.

Jaén: Alcalá la Real, Benatae, Montizón, Torres de Albanchez.

Málaga: Alozaina.

Sevilla: Lora de Estepa.

Municipalities opening borders from Wednesday

Almería: Abla, Gérgal.

Córdoba: Almedinilla, Doña Mencía, Guadalcázar, La Victoria, Palenciana, Posadas, Villaharta.

Granada: Alicún de Ortega, Almuñécar, Alquife, Cájar, Caniles, Jayena, Lecrín, Soportújar, La Taha, Trévelez, Villanueva de las Torres, Zafarraya.

Huelva: Higuera de la Sierra, Nerva.

Jaén: Aldeaquemada, Jimena, Martos, Peal de Becerro, Torredonjimeno

Málaga: Alfarnatejo, Antequera, Árchez, Cútar, Istán, Iznate, Macharaviaya, Mollina, Periana, Torrox, Totalán, Villanueva de la Concepción, Villanueva del Rosario.

Sevilla: Gerena, Gelves, Gines, Isla Mayor, Tomares.

Almería: Bacares, Bentarique, Serón, Tíjola, Vícar, Zurgena.

Cádiz: Alcalá de los Gazules, Medina Sidonia, Benaocaz, Bornos, Grazalema, Algar.

Córdoba: Castro del Río, La Carlota, Montemayor, Montilla, Pedroche, Torrecampo, Villafranca de Córdoba, Zuheros.

Granada: Albolote, Atarfe, Benamaurel, Cijuela, Cuevas del Campo, Cúllar Vega, Domingo Pérez, Escúzar, Huéscar, Huétor-Tajar, Jun, Monachil, Montefrío, Motril, Puebla de Don Fadrique, Valle del Zalabí, Válor, Vegas del genil, Víznar, Zagra.

Huelva: Bollulos Par del Condado, Cabezas Rubias, Escacena del Campo, Manzanilla, Moguer, Rociana del Condado, Villablanca.

Jaén: Arquillos, Mancha Real.

Málaga: Almáchar, Casares, Cuevas de San Marcos, Ojén, Pizarra, Riogordo, Yunquera.
