Spain’s Andalucia sees deadliest day of second wave with 60 COVID-19 deaths

ANDALUCIA has recorded its deadliest day of the second coronavirus wave Thursday, detecting 60 deaths.

According to the Andalucia Institute of Statistics and Cartography, there have been 3,770 cases detected in the past 24 hours, by PCR and anitbody tests.

It is a significant increase on the 2,363 counted on Wednesday, ending the downward trend which began on November 1.

Sevilla counted the most cases in the past 24 hours, clocking 1,021.

It was followed by Granada with 926, Cordoba 368, Cadiz 317, Jaen 315, Almeria 234 and Huelva 150.
