Vox party leader Santiago Abascal continues Trump support online as votes are counted in the US election

Abascal

VOX party president Santiago Abascal has shown his support for Donald Trump as the result of the US presidential election hangs in the balance.

Abascal shared a surprising video on Twitter of a large crowd of people in Nigeria showing their support for the incumbent.

Historically, the Vox party and Donald Trump have had a mutually beneficial relationship.

When the far-right group headed to New York for a party event and were refused access to the Spanish Center in Queens, Trump offered them refuge in the Rockefeller Center.

A site partially controlled by the Republican Party, the building acted as a gift from one leader to another.

In Spain, Vox have been accused of hate crimes and spreading false COVID-19 information by the PSOE party.
