Lucky Escape As Pilot Crash Lands On Airfield In Spain S Costa Blanca

A PILOT cheated death after his plane crash-landed on a private airstrip on the southern Costa Blanca.

The drama unfolded around noon today(November 3) when emergency services got reports of a crash in the Torremendo area of the Orihuela municipality.

The 27-year-old man managed to clamber out of the cockpit on his own steam.

Paramedics treated him on site for multiple injuries and took him to Torrevieja Hospital.
