Bulgarian Gang Exploited Woman And Forced Them To Rob Benidorm Tourists On Spain S Costa Blanca

SIX BULGARIANS go on trial at Alicante Provincial Court today (October 27) over sexually exploiting women and forcing them to steal from Benidorm tourists.

Most of the money raised was pumped into a farm in Bulgaria.

Prosecutors have called for jail sentences between 21 and 13 years for the gang.

The group leaders were a married couple who identified vulnerable Bulgarian women and transsexuals.

They were tricked into moving to the Costa Blanca with false promises of earning a decent income.

The victims were forced into prostitution and to steal from tourists in the Benidorm area.

All of their earnings were taken away and syphoned off by the criminal gang.

The six have been charged with human trafficking, money laundering, sexual exploitation, and membership of a criminal group.
