BREAKING: British man shot in the face in Spain’s Marbella

Breaking

A BRITISH man is fighting for his life after being shot in the face in Marbella last night.

The unnamed victim was rushed to the Hospital Costa del Sol in a critical condition after being found by police with a gunshot wound to the head.

Policia Nacional have already arrested five people in connection with the case.

The emergency 112 service received a call just before 9pm yesterday warning of a brawl on Avenida del Prado, in the Aloha urbanisation of Nueva Andalucia.

The caller claimed someone had fired shots and that at least one person had been hit.

Police rushed to the scene and managed to cuff five people in the area they suspect to have been involved, they are all believed to be British.

The victim was stabilised by paramedics before being transferred to the hospital.

Sources are not clear on how many bullets the man received, but reports suggest at least one bullet hit his nose and eye.

The investigation is being headed up by the Judicial Brigade of the Marbella police station with the support of drug police Udyco-Costa del Sol.

Narcotics investigators will be on the case until they can prove what the motive of the shooting was.

The victim was holidaying in a luxury urbanisation in Estepona, reported Diario Sur.
