A MAN was rushed to hospital after being shot twice on Sunday afternoon in Estepona.

He was found in a flat in the town’s Hacienda Beach complex, shortly after the shooting, and is now being treated at the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella.

The bullets struck his left leg and upper left arm, causing a fracture.

A trail of blood led from the complex’s car park to the living room in which the victim had been left for dead.

However, the police are uncertain of whether the shooting occurred in this building or whether the man was taken there afterwards.

This is the second shooting on the Costa del Sol in just six days, after a Spanish man in his 30s was shot in the back of the head while driving.

The perpetrators of Sunday’s crime are yet to be identified.
