Weekend Covid 19 New Case Figures Stabilise Across Spain  S Costa Blanca

NEW COVID-19 cases have averaged around 200 for the third straight weekend in Alicante Province.

Valencian Health Ministry statistics released this afternoon(October 12) showed that were 202 new cases in the area since the previous report on Friday evening.

The first weekend of October reported 197 positive cases, while September’s final weekend had 205 cases reported in Alicante Province.

Overall, the Valencian Community reported 593 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, compared to 529 cases a week earlier.

A dozen outbreaks have been identified across the Community, with Elda having the largest in Alicante Province, with eight cases, followed by Santa Pola and Alcoy with three cases each.
