Benidorm to become all-inclusive resort as tourists offered dozens of restaurants and accommodation for just €200 per week – special voucher for residents on Spain’s Costa Blanca

Benidorm and Costa Blanca hotels report best week of the summer as Spanish room bookings keep them goin

BENIDORM is turning itself into a huge all-inclusive resort where tourists can choose an accommodation and eat and drink in up to 25 different bars or restaurants – and all for €200.

The week-long offering includes establishments that are part of the ABRECA and COBRECA hospitality associations, the Rosemberg Real Estate Agency and the Nicaragua Apartments.

“This project is the result of a synergy between all the business sectors of the city and it will be a pioneer in Europe, allowing visitors to enjoy all the gastronomic offerings of Benidorm,” the associations and companies said in a joint statement.

It comes after the region’s tourism sector suffered it’s toughest year in recent memory due to the coronavirus pandemic, especially due to the drop in British visitors.

The statement added: “The tourists will have a complete experience of Benidorm, being able to stay in the apartments of Inmobiliaria Rosemberg or Apartamentos Nicaragua and have breakfast, lunch and dinner in any bar, restaurant and cafeteria that is a member of ABRECA and COBRECA and a part of the project.”

The offer will be running from October 14 and last until March 2021, while ‘security and hygiene’ will be made a priority, the groups said.

Meanwhile, anyone who is a resident in the Valenciana Community will receive a special voucher which will give a large discount for their stay at the ‘Benidorm Resort’ – the name given to the project.
