Mumby’s Homecare Support is a leading live-in care agency in the South of England, that provides one on one care to vulnerable adults with various conditions in the safety and comfort of their own home.

Since 2002 the business has supported elderly clients with best in class live-in care services, that has led the business to be rated “outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission.

In the past live-in care has often been the forgotten or misunderstood care solution for families across the UK. But with the prevalence of coronavirus in 2020  has thrust live-in care into the spotlight, as it is now, the safest care option for vulnerable adults.

As a result, Mumby’s Homecare Support are looking for additional staff to join our care team treating elderly clients with the respect, care & the kindness they deserve. This is a unique opportunity with flexible care assignments of 2-6 weeks placement in a client’s home looking after an individual. Experience is preferred but not essential as at Mumby’s Homecare Support we offer comprehensive virtual training via the internet and 1-2-1 individual training to all staff at our care hub in Abingdon, Oxford.

Our Live In_carers

In this role an individual will provide live-in care for elderly clients who need assistance in their daily routine but want to stay in the comfort of their own home. Responsibilities include getting people up, washed and dressed, giving medication, cooking meals, shopping or taking clients out if they wish. Car drivers are preferred and valid clean driving licence is required.

Dilip Kuner

Dilip Kuner is a NCTJ-trained journalist whose first job was on the Folkestone Herald as a trainee in 1988.
He worked up the ladder to be chief reporter and sub editor on the Hastings Observer and later news editor on the Bridlington Free Press.
At the time of the first Gulf War he started working for the Sunday Mirror, covering news stories as diverse as Mick Jagger’s wedding to Jerry Hall (a scoop gleaned at the bar at Heathrow Airport) to massive rent rises at the ‘feudal village’ of Princess Diana’s childhood home of Althorp Park.
In 1994 he decided to move to Spain with his girlfriend (now wife) and brought up three children here.
He initially worked in restaurants with his father, before rejoining the media world in 2013, working in the local press before becoming a copywriter for international firms including Accenture, as well as within a well-known local marketing agency.
He joined the Olive Press as a self-employed journalist during the pandemic lock-down, becoming news editor a few months later.
Since then he has overseen the news desk and production of all six print editions of the Olive Press and had stories published in UK national newspapers and appeared on Sky News.
