CHEEKY: A knowing smile from the star

The British-American actress was papped on the red carpet outside the Victoria Eugene Theatre.

She had come to Donostia to promote her new film The World to Come directed by Mona Fastvold and co-starring Vanessa Kirby.

“Mona wishes she was here and Vanessa wishes she was here,” said Waterston. “But because we’re in this global pandemic you’re stuck with me.”

“I think this is a special film. I really hope you enjoy it and I’m so glad that you can be here tonight watching it on the big screen as it was meant to be seen.”
