Scottish Men Stabbed In Alcohol Fuelled Row In Golfing Area Of Spain  S Murcia Region

A DRUNKEN BRAWL between three Scottish men saw two of them being stabbed at the Mar Menor golf resort in Torre Pacheco, Murcia.

It’s not known whether the trio are Spanish residents or were on holiday.

The Guardia Civil said that the fight broke out at 3.00am last Friday(September 18).

One of the trio stabbed another in the abdomen and then knifed the other man in the arm.

Passers-by spotted two men lying on the ground and called emergency services.

Both were taken to Murcia´s Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital where surgery was performed on the victim with the abdomen injury.

The Guardia Civil from Torre Pacheco launched a search to find the assailant and discover what led to the stabbings.

The regional La Verdad newspaper reported that the victims did not want to provide any details about their compatriot or to reveal own identities or addresses.

No further information has been released by the authorities
