City street disinfection resumes after surge in COVID-19 cases on Spain’s Costa Blanca

ORIHUELA City Council has intensified the disinfection of streets against COVID-19 throughout the municipality.

The work stepped up from yesterday, September 18, in public areas in and around schools and colleges.

INCREASED: Disinfection work in Orihuela

In reaction to new outbreaks being of ‘social origin’, disinfection work was also reintroduced around the terraces of bars and cafes.

Additionally, cleansing work continues at district medical offices, health centres, pharmacies, banks, social centres, railway stations and bus stops.
