School Class And Teacher Quarantined After Girl Gets Covid 19 In Spain S Valencian Community

A PRIMARY school class has been quarantined after a little girl tested positive for COVID-19.

It’s the first such incident involving youngsters since the new school year started on Monday(September 7) in the Valencian Community.

The girl attended the Els Germanells school in Rafelbunyol, 20 kilometres north of Valencia City.

She spent four hours with her 20 classmates on Monday when she complained of feeling unwell.

Her parents took her to the town’s health centre for a PCR test which confirmed that she had COVID-19.

The school was shut on Tuesday as it was a public holiday in Rafelbunyol, but administrators contacted the parents of the girl’s classmates as well as her teacher.

Quarantine measures were instigated in addition to PCR testing.
