Policia Nacional

A MANHUNT is underway for three migrants who escaped from COVID-19 quarantine.

They had been in quarantine at the centre since the weekend.

Policia Nacional have now taken over the investigation to track the three down.

It is not known if they have COVID-19 but they had been in close contact with other sufferers.

Officials believe they are infected as several other migrants from the boat they arrived in have tested positive.
