EAGLE-EYED Olive Press readers may have noticed a guest appearance by Costa Blanca South journalist, Simon Wade, on TV earlier this week.
Wade appeared on Sun, Sea & Selling Houses on Monday, June 22, following the recording in November 2019.
The 42-year-old said: “We were just about to launch the Costa Blanca South edition of The Olive Press, and I knew the family at Casas Manuel would make for a great interview.”
As the Sunderland man walked into their Benijofar office, he stumbled upon the filming of their Channel 4 programme.
He continued: “With it being recorded so long ago, I’d completely forgotten about the broadcast, until Monday.”
“I was having a swim and my ‘phone started going crazy with friends texting and calling me, all thinking it was hilarious,” he admitted.
Wade, concluded: “Still, it was good fun and great to meet such a lovely genuine family.”
