Beaches Are Sorted Out In Costa Blanca  S Guardamar Months After Storm Gloria Damage

WORK has restarted on Guardamar’s beaches to repair damage caused by January’s Storm Gloria.

Spain’s State of Alarm, imposed in mid-March, stopped emergency projects that had begun to sort out the storm-hit coastline with broken walkways and other beach-related structures..

Last September’s record-breaking storms caused major damage to some of Guardamar’s beaches, which were further compounded by Storm Gloria towards the start of the year.
