The German has struggled to make a mark at the Santiago Bernabéu. However, Toni Kroos as emerged as one of the most notable forces for the Los Blancos with Casemiro and Valverde allowing him to play a more prominent role in the midfield. His incredible goal against Valencia in January 2020 at the Spanish Super Cup was evidence of the German’s underrated talent.

For a player who was struggling to get into Barcelona’s B team a few months back, one has to appreciate how far Ansu Fati has come. He has had a record-breaking start at Barcelona’s senior squad becoming an influential part of one of the world’ best football teams.

He’s already the youngest goal scorer in Champions League history, the second youngest player to debut for the Barcelona first team in La Liga and is also the youngest player to start for the team at the Camp Nou.

Fati is also the youngest goal scorer at the Camp Nou and the team’s youngest Champions League debutant. Fato has already been nominated for the Globe Soccer Awards. His achievements underline the teenager’s talent and it is no wonder many see him as a future replacement for Messi.

When Joao Felix turned up for Benfica in the 2018/19 season, he was a delight to watch on the field. Everyone expected him to replicate his phenomenon form in Atletico immediately but it hasn’t yet happened. Before leaving Chelsea in the previous season, he had 21 goals and 17 assists in 52 games which shows his best is yet to come.
