A DRUGS mule has been found with 71 bags of hashish inside his body after being arrested by Policia Nacional for his involvement in a fatal car crash.
The horror crash happened in Velez-Malaga between a van and car driven by the Moroccan citizen on January 19, resulting in the death of a young man.
The drugs were discovered by an X-ray machine at the Axarquia hospital, where the 36-year-old was being treated for severe chest trauma.
The Moroccan citizen was arrested on January 21 after health professionals alerted the police.
He has been charged with drug trafficking.
The head on car collision happened on the A-356 near El Trapiche and injured several other people.
