A 14-YEAR-OLD girl has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her pal, 13, in a frenzied attack in Madrid.

The shocking assault occurred in the La Latina neighbourhood at around 9pm on Saturday night.

The suspect allegedly launched the assault ‘in an act of jealousy’ and stabbed the girl repeatedly all over her body.

The victim received two wounds to her right chest, one in the neck another in her forehead.

She was transferred to the Doce de Octubre hospital.

Her wounds are not believed to have been fatal.

The alleged attacker fled the scene and hid in a nearby home.
