A YOUNG man has died after having his neck slashed outside a cocktail bar on the Costa del Sol.
The victim, 22, had reportedly got into a heated argument with another man of the same age inside a bar in Estepona in the early hours of this morning.
The argument became physical when the pair met again on the street after leaving separately.
It was then that the alleged killer stabbed the victim in the neck.
The slasher was pinned down by a marina security guard who managed to cuff him and hold him in place until police arrived.
The man died before medical staff arrived.
Policia Nacional have taken over the investigation while the alleged killer is being held in the local police station.
Their nationalities have not yet been revealed by official sources.
However according to Manilva WS, the victim was local to Manilva and was ‘well known’ for working in a ‘local trade.’
“Rest in peace this boy resident in Manilva and well known for working in a local trade,” the local publication said, “Our condolences to friends and family.”
It comes after a British man was shot and killed in his car in Mijas just days ago.
He has been identified as a Manchester businessman who investigators believe may have been caught up in the costa’s lethal drug trade.
