Robber in Spain’s Marbella who hit expat shop owner on head with motorbike helmet then stole €500 is arrested

A VIOLENT robber who smacked an expat store owner over the head with a motorbike helmet has been arrested.

The Spanish man and an accomplice stole €500 from the till during the robbery in Marbella on November 3. 

The robber and the other man, dressed in black balaclavas, fled on a motorbike after stealing the money from the store at around 10:30pm.

Police have also retrieved a helmet matching the one used in the attack, in the course of the investigation. 

The man now faces a violet robbery charge for the theft of money and violence against the Chinese shop owner.
