POLICE have arrested a man for allegedly assaulting his partner in front of their youngest son.
The individual, reportedly from Antequera, was detained in Malaga after the disturbance.
The incident occurred in their home, in the presence of their 8-year-old son.
He is thought to have punched and pulled the hair of his partner, with the young boy even emerging from the scrape with a cut to the leg from broken glass, after he tried to get between them.
The older son, who was in his room, came out after hearing the screams and blows and managed to convince his father to leave.
The local police subsequently arrived and arrested the man, who has since denied the allegations.
