HOUSE sales in Andalucia are falling faster than in most of Spain, even though it’s still the top region to sell a house.

Sales of properties fell by 14.1% in September, compared to an average 12% drop across the rest of the Iberian peninsula.

7,307 houses exchanged hands in Andalucia and 37,995 nationwide, according to data by the Institute of National Statistics (INE).

Sales of new homes in Andalucia dropped by even more in September, with one fifth less shifting than in September 2018.

Less new homes sold in the ninth month of the year than in any month since September 2016.
