Pensioner, 85, stabs nursing home roommate, 80, during row in Spain’s Mallorca

AN 85-year-old man has been arrested after stabbing his roommate, 80, at an old people’s home in Mallorca. 

According to Policia Nacional, the pensioner became enraged by his roommate during an argument on Saturday afternoon.

At around 5.45pm, the suspect picked up a knife and stabbed his pal twice.

The victim was rushed from the Palma nursing home to Son Espases hospital.

The 85-year-old was dragged in front of a judge yesterday afternoon.

It is not known if he was released on bail ahead of trial.
