The resort has won plenty of accolades so far this year, collecting titles like ‘Most Hospitable Golf Club in Spain’ and ‘Best Facilities in Spain’, awarded in Leadingcourses.com’s 2019 Golfers’ Choice Awards.

A record-breaking 600,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers worldwide submitted votes to the prestigious magazine.

Considered one of Europe’s most exclusive modern golf and lifestyle destinations, Finca Cortesin opened in 2006 and features a 532-acre estate, as well as one of Europe’s longest courses.

The 18-hole championship course fringing the Casares Mountain foothills was host to the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012.

Rene Zimmer, CEO of Finca Cortesin, said: “I am proud that, through the work and effort of our team at Finca Cortesin, the hotel has been distinguished at this year’s Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.

“It is wonderful to see that, 10 years after its opening, our guests are as captivated by the complex as we are and recognise it as the ‘best of the best’ in the country and beyond.”
