BREAKING: Huge fire erupts on Spain’s Costa del Sol

A LARGE fire has broken out on the Costa del Sol in an area popular with holidaymakers.

The blaze, which can be seen for miles has released a huge trail of black smoke.

Early reports suggest that the incident in the campo above the Aldea Hills urbanization started at around 11:11pm.

The fire is on the San Enrique side of the AP7.

At least 30 INFOCA firefighters have been dispatched to tackle the blaze.

Manilva and Estepona bomberos are also assisting the extinction efforts.

British holidaymaker Paul Neale was enjoying a night time walk in Estepona when he saw the blaze.

He told the Olive Press he ‘couldn’t believe it’.
