Police in Spain’s Ibiza step up search efforts to find expat who has been missing for nearly two weeks

POLICE in Ibiza are intensifying their search efforts to find an expat who has been missing for almost two weeks. 

Canadian national Sarah Marie Lewis was last seen driving a white Fiat 500 in the Port de’s Torrent area on October 5.

The 33 year old failed to return the rental car with the registration number 1498 KVC within date, leading friends to believe she hasn’t disappeared of her own accord. 

Her friends asked for help finding Sarah via social media on October 9, four days after she was last seen.

Originally from Canada, Sarah had been living in the Ibizan town of  Sant Antoni de Portmany for many years. 

She is 1.57m (5ft 1) tall, slim and has short blond hair.
