A HUGE fire has broken out near Malaga Airport.
The blaze at the Guadalhorce Poligono is thought to have ignited at around 3:20pm this afternoon.
It is believed to have started at the large car park on Carretera de la Azucarera, which sits parallel to the runway at the airport.
A dense column of thick black smoke could be seen billowing from the area.
Around 40 emergency services personnel have begun tackling the incident, including firefighters from the Andalusian Emergency Group.
Policia Nacional and Local officers have also been responding.
