SCORCHING summer temperatures are set to continue this weekend and into next week as Andalucia enjoys a warmer autumn than average. 

Temperatures reached 34C and 35C today in Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla, while 30C was reached in Zaragoza, Valencia, Toledo, Teruel, Lleida, Jaén, Huelva, Girona, Ciudad Real, Badajoz and Albacete.

The hottest cities tonight will be Malaga and Almeria, where temperatures will not fall below 21C.

Tomorrow (Saturday) will see the mercury soar to up to 35C yet again in Sevilla and Cordoba.

The whole of southern Spain will not see a drop of rain, according to AEMET.

Malaga and the Costa del Sol will enjoy summer temperatures into next week too.

According to Spain’s weather agency, the mercury will rise to as high as 32C.

Tuesday is expected to be the hottest day of the week.
