POLICE have begun a search to retrieve the body of a baby which was allegedly thrown into a river by his 16-year-old father.
A helicopter along with a specialist device have started to probe the river, in an attempt to find the corpse of the missing child.
Catalonian police indicated that a minor attempted to bury his child before opting to throw the boy into the mouth of the Bosos river.
The suspect handed himself into Los Mossos’ police station and an investigation is now being carried out by Prosecutor’s Office for Minors.
